Each year the committee select 4 different races in which members compete among themselves for the inter-club Challenge Trophies. Just by entering the race and wearing club colours (official race vest or t-shirts) you stand a chance of winning!

Prizes are awarded on your gun time at the end of the year and the winning man and lady receive a shield to keep for 12 months as well as a small trophy. Prizes are also awarded on your gun time for each five year age category winner (Senior female, FV35, 40, 45, 50, 55, 60, 65, 70, 75 and 80 as well as Senior male, MV35, MV40, 45, 50, 55, 60, 65, 70, 75 and 80). Your age category is determined by your age on the day of the race.

Eligibility is dependent on membership at the date of the award presentation.

For 2026 we have selected:

• 10 Mile – Haywards Heath – 3rd May 2026 – Website
• WSFRL – Trundle View – Date TBC (entry for HJ Members will be via MemberZone)
• Half Marathon – Henfield Half– 16th August 2026 – Website
• 10k – Alf Shrubb – 13th September 2026 – Website

We are also considering the addition of a 5 km race. Details TBC.
