Flora London Marathon 2005

 

Well done to all the Horsham Joggers who endured the heat on the 22nd April in London plus those who crossed the pond to Paris the week before. If you would like your story or photos published here please let me know.

Beginners
Please let us know who you are so we can ensure you are in the right pace group and you don't get left on your own!!

The three weekly club runs (Sunday - long distance/slow pace, Tuesday - med distance/medium pace, Thursday - short intervals/fast (track or road) will give you your basic training runs starting at 23 miles a week rising to 34 miles a week. Add your own further sessions to tie in with your training schedule.

Remember, don't do hard sessions on consecutive days, take enough rest and don't run while injured. Ask experienced runners for advice.
